We always work to preserve original architectural features when appropriate. But some courses have historic value that requires the architect to step back and nurture the property's past. At Schaupeter Golf, we have conducted extensive study of the previous generations of golf course architects. We utilize old aerial photos and other historical documents as well as a careful examination of the land to uncover and enhance the original architectural intent while improving safety, maintenance and operational factors for the owner.
